Understanding Pathogen Behaviour

Pathogens respond dynamically to their environment. Understanding their behaviour is critical both because of evidence of increased resistance to established sanitation and preservation techniques, and because of the increased use of minimal processing technologies which are more vulnerable to the development of resistance. The Biofuel Delusion

This apparent mystery can be explained by a lack of sound scientific analysis going beyond a simplistic economic reading, a (fatal) political attraction to the idea of biofuels as a 'silver bullet', and a the continuing allure of a buoyed agricultural industry.
